the aftermath of Brexit continues to develop, British citizens in the Northern
Netherlands have been busy applying for their new residence permits. The IWCN
has been the ‘Brexit biometrics’ center for the North, and has now hosted over

New pilot program: International Students and the IWCN
|
The IWCN is very excited to be taking part in a new pilot program for International Students in the Northern Netherlands. Beginning with non-EU students at the Hanzehogeschool,the IWCN will be welcoming new International students to submit their biometrics (fingerprints, photo, signature) at the IWCN in Groningen. The pilot program begins in September this year, so stay tuned for updates!

IWCN structure from 2022 - have your say! From 2022, the IWCN is working towards becoming a structural part of the Northern Netherlands. Our services will not change and the IWCN will continue to be available for all Internationals in the North! Our plans are not yet finalised, and we’d like your opinion as stakeholders on the future of the IWCN. We have drawn up a survey, available here, for you to have your say!

Over 70 graduating students joined to hear about opportunities in the North, and how the IWCN can help everyone feel at home in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe.
